Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Oloodi Technologies Inc. ("Oloodi", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Oloodi Technologies Inc. is a company incorporated in Quebec and based in Montréal, Quebec, Canada. We are an AI product studio: we build our own products and partner with founders to build theirs.
The person accountable for the protection of personal information at Oloodi can be reached at hello@oloodi.com. Use that address for any question or request covered by this policy.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- the oloodi.com website, including this page;
- the internal tools Oloodi runs against its own business accounts, including Oloodi Accounting Assistant, our internal QuickBooks Online integration described in section 4.
It does not cover third-party websites we link to, which have their own policies.
3. The oloodi.com website
Audience measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and the site or search that referred you. We use it in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify individuals, we do not sell this data, and we do not run advertising on this site.
Booking a call
The "Book a call" action opens a Calendly widget. If you book, the name, email address, time zone and any message you provide are processed by Calendly on our behalf, and we receive them in order to hold the meeting. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to its service.
Writing to us
If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet our record-keeping obligations.
Your choices
You can block analytics and cookies through your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools, and you can always contact us by email instead of using the booking widget.
4. Oloodi Accounting Assistant (QuickBooks Online)
Oloodi Accounting Assistant is an internal tool. It is not distributed, not sold, and not made available to anyone outside Oloodi. It is used by a single person, Oloodi's director, on Oloodi's own accounting records, and its current scope is read-only.
How it works
The assistant runs as a local process on the director's workstation and connects to Oloodi's own QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization. Create, update and delete operations are disabled by configuration, so the tool can read accounting records but cannot modify them.
What it accesses
- accounting records held in Oloodi's own QuickBooks Online company: customers, projects, vendors, invoices, and products and services;
- the QuickBooks company identifier (realm ID);
- the OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Intuit.
Why
A single purpose: auditing and tidying Oloodi's own accounting data. The tool is not used to process data belonging to clients, and it is not used for marketing, profiling or advertising.
Where it is processed
Processing happens locally on the director's workstation. Data moves directly between that workstation and Intuit. There is no Oloodi server in the path, and no intermediary service receives the accounting data.
Sharing with third parties
None. Accounting data read through the assistant is not sold, rented, published, or disclosed to any third party.
How long it is kept
No persistent copy of the accounting data is kept: records are read when needed and held in memory only for the duration of the task. Only the OAuth tokens are stored, encrypted, on the local workstation, and only until access is revoked or the tokens expire.
Revoking access
Access can be withdrawn at any time from QuickBooks Online, under Settings → Apps, by disconnecting the application. Disconnecting immediately invalidates the tokens, and the assistant can no longer read anything. Stored tokens are then deleted from the workstation.
5. How we protect information
- accounting data is processed locally rather than on a hosted service;
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted, and are never committed to source control;
- access is limited to the workstation of the single authorized user, which is protected by device-level authentication and disk encryption;
- the integration is granted read-only scope, limiting the impact of any error.
6. Where information is processed
Oloodi operates from Quebec. Some of the service providers referred to in this policy (Intuit for QuickBooks Online, Google for analytics, Calendly for booking) are established outside Quebec, mainly in the United States, and information handled through their services may be stored or processed outside Quebec under their own terms.
7. Your rights
Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may ask us to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete it, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
- withdraw a consent you previously gave.
Write to hello@oloodi.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools and obligations change. The date at the top of the page always reflects the version in force.
