Who we are

Oloodi Technologies is a Montreal-based digital product studio. We design and ship ambitious platforms for founder-investor clients and we work AI-native: our developers collaborate daily with AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, AI-assisted code reviews, automated workflows). The pace is startup pace: ship fast, learn fast, iterate.

The product

You'll join the team building a multi-platform product for one of our clients, where the mobile apps are the part people actually open, every day, to get their work done. It's already in the hands of real users, so what you ship lands with them within the week, not next quarter. We'll go into detail when we talk.

Your mission

You build and own the mobile side of the product, from the first screen to the store release.

  • Build the Flutter apps: screens, state, navigation, offline behaviour, and the unglamorous edge cases that decide whether people trust the app.
  • Connect the apps to our backend APIs and handle the real-world mess: flaky networks, retries, auth, background sync, push notifications.
  • Own releases end to end: build flavours, signing, App Store and Play Store submissions, staged rollouts, crash and performance monitoring.
  • Turn design work into interfaces that hold up, and push back early when something won't survive contact with a real device.
  • Work alongside AI agents every day: you drive them, you review what they produce, and you stay accountable for what ships.
  • Keep the codebase honest: tests where they earn their keep, readable PRs, and a project the next developer can pick up without a guided tour.

Must-have

  • 2–5 years building mobile apps, including real Flutter and Dart experience in production.
  • You've shipped to the App Store and Play Store yourself, and you know what breaks between “works on my machine” and “live for users”.
  • Solid fundamentals: state management, async, REST APIs, and the discipline to handle loading, empty, and error states properly.
  • Comfortable with Git and GitHub as daily tools: branches, PRs, code review.
  • Genuine curiosity for AI applied to software development: you want to work alongside AI agents, and use them yourself.
  • Autonomy: you scope your own work, ask sharp questions, and ship without hand-holding.
  • Comfortable working in English; French is a plus, not a requirement.

Nice-to-have

  • Native experience (Swift or Kotlin) for the moments Flutter alone won't cover.
  • Offline-first apps: local storage, sync, conflict resolution.
  • Mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions).
  • Building AI features into an app: streaming responses, conversational UI, handling model latency and failure.
  • Firebase, geolocation, maps, or payments in a production app.

What we offer

  • Real ownership of the mobile product, not a ticket queue: you have a say in how the apps are built.
  • A truly AI-native environment, rare in Montreal: you'll learn to build with AI agents as part of the production line.
  • Great offices in downtown Montreal, hybrid mode.
  • A startup setting: fast growth, direct exposure to founders and the client, visible impact every week.

How to apply

Send your resume along with something you've actually shipped: a store link, a repo, or a short screen recording. Optional, but it'll move you to the top of the pile:

“Tell us about a bug you shipped to production in a mobile app: how you found it, how you fixed it, and what you changed so it couldn't happen again.”

Send everything using the button below. Real shipped work gets a fast reply.
